For the most part, I say I dig change, but for the most part, I can be a real fuckin’ liar sometimes. I get upset when my favorite show ends, and I have trouble taking different routes home from the subway. I have parted my hair in the middle for three years. I would say YOLO, but that’s a new… So seriously poignant on the day after graduation.
Oh lawd.
So many tears. So many tears in one week whyyyyy, life?!
First I got to say hi-and-bye to two of my best study abroad friends.
And now I have to say goodbye to almost all of my undergrad friends. And the amazing professors who made me fall in love with academia. I said goodbye to some of my favorite professors by watching their band play live at a tasting room tonight with some of my best friends.
Oh, AND, btw I get to say goodbye to almost everyone who has mattered my entire life (aka my family and best friend) in three months when I leave the country.
These are all things I have accepted and to some degree pursued. But it doesn’t make it any less sad or any less real.
Real life is really, really hard.
